Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty.

The Role

Oxfam GB is looking for a team of .NET C# Senior Developers to join a brand-new and exciting project within the eCommerce division. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to be instrumental in helping Oxfam to deliver on its new and highly visible modern cloud-based online shop; a key area of growth and investment. A successful candidate would be given the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, libraries and design patterns to achieve cost-effective and highly resilient solution for Oxfam’s unique, high scale, and often challenging supporter led donation requirements.

What we are looking for

As a Senior Developer you will need to demonstrate experience working with or advising on enterprise scale applications. Focus will be given to knowledge of integration and service development during the project’s initial build. The right candidate will need to be enthusiastic about the project and its future value to Oxfam’s mission to end poverty, while also remain flexible with the tools and technology they are comfortable working with.

We offer

This role will give you an opportunity to make a difference in one of Oxfam’s key donation channels, to act as key contributor to the project from the very beginning, and to work with a group of passionate people that are specialists in their field. The role offers great potential for personnel skills development, competitive pay and benefits package, and the opportunity to work flexibly, remotely, or in a relax and friendly office environment.

Oxfam GB also participates in the Inter Agency Misconduct Disclosure Scheme. In line with this Scheme, we will request information from job applicants’ previous employers about any findings of sexual exploitation, sexual abuse and/or sexual harassment during employment, or incidents under investigation when the applicant left employment.
