The U.S. Climate Alliance seeks a Senior Climate Analyst to provide analytical and research support on a wide range of climate and clean energy issues to assist member states and territories in advancing ambitious climate policy. Key responsibilities include leading on Alliance-wide analytical efforts to measure progress and inform decision-making; coordinating Alliance working groups focused on improving state greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories and emissions analysis; maintaining the Alliance’s policy database that tracks adoption and implementation of climate actions across sectors; and contributing to the development of key Alliance resources and publications. The Senior Climate Analyst reports to the Director of Programs and Analysis and will be expected to work as part of a broader team that includes Alliance states and territories, consultants, and external partners. The position is part of the Energy and Climate team at the United Nations Foundation, which houses the U.S. Climate Alliance Secretariat.
This position is located in Washington, D.C. with consideration for remote work.
Selection Criteria
Bachelor’s degree required.
