Summary Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee our responsibilities and deliverables for a partnership within an ambitious project to support the conservation of vulnerable seagrass ecosystems and coastal livelihoods at target sites in Southeast Asia. The project involves partner NGOs, communities and research organisations across a number of coastal states, and is managed by the United Nations Environment Programme, represented by the Convention on Migratory Species Secretariat, based in Abu Dhabi, with support from the German Government’s Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMU).
Within the project, Blue Ventures is working to develop ecotourism and community homestay business models in Thailand, Indonesia, and Timor-Leste.
The position will work as part of a wider team within Blue Ventures, developing and managing relationships with partners on the project and overseeing Blue Ventures’ responsibilities and the reporting requirements on the project.
