About this position:

We are looking for a dynamic professional to support the Risk Management Department of IDB Invest in developing and deploying internal reports, presentations, and training materials on financial, non-financial and emerging risks across IDB Invest.

What you’ll do:

The objective of the consultancy is to support the Risk Management Department in the preparation of technical content for reports, presentations, and training on financial, non-financial and emerging risks for IDB Invest consisting of the following main areas: Credit Risk: Policy considerations; risk assessment, mitigation, and monitoring; portfolio analytics. Non-Financial and Emerging Risks: ESG risk management; operational risk and internal controls; compliance, integrity, and reputational risks. Capital Management: Financial risk framework; economic capital, risk modeling and stress testing; RAROC; and provisions. The selected consultant will also support the preparation of a Risk Management training program. The consultant will be assigned to the RSM Management Department and collaborate with the four teams within the Risk Department: Credit Risk, Financial and Operational Risk, Social and Environmental Risk and Special Assets.

What you'll need

Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s, MBA is a plus) in a field related to risk management. Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in the design and delivery of report preparation and training programs related to the topics of this consultancy. Proficiency on business and data analytics tools, including advanced Excel and PowerBI skills. Languages: oral and written proficiency in English and ability to communicate in Spanish or Portuguese.
