Terms of Reference**All candidates must have valid existent work rights in Australia.**
Minimum Requirements:
- Two years of relevant experience with High School diploma, or one year relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher.
Desired Candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree in law, international relations, social science, statistics, information technology, or another relevant field.
- Prior experience with UNHCR (or other organizations working with refugees and asylum-seeker) is strongly preferred, including in resettlement processing and/or data management.
- Understanding of the context affecting refugees and asylum-seekers subject to Australia’s offshore transfer policy, and experience working directly with individuals impacted by this policy.
- Understanding of the international legal framework applicable to refugees, as well as UNHCR’s resettlement guidelines.
- Strong drafting and data management skills and familiarity with UNHCR’s resettlement guidelines.
