The Project Manager is responsible of providing overall management and supervision to part of Action Against Hunger’s projects in Moldova. The management includes ensuring operational outputs and budget follow-up. She/he contributes to identifying, developing, and implementing Action Against Hunger’s country strategy. This includes working on ongoing projects and identifying new project proposals.
Key activities in your role will include
- Quality implementation of the projects in Moldova and cross boarder in Ukraine
- Ensure project objectives are met in an efficient and timely manner
- Ensure proper administrative, financial, procurement, monitoring and evaluation management processes/procedures are in place to guarantee the timely, quality and effective implementation of the projects activities
- Ensure a good relationship with partner organizations for project implementation
- Planning, implementation and quality of work throughout the projects activities in accordance with relevant humanitarian guidelines, policies and national and/or international standards
- Contribute to identifying, developing and implementing AAH’s Moldova country strategy
- Active participation in identifying new potential interventions
- Regular reporting of projects activities, proper collection and archiving of support documents and source of verifications, capitalization and lessons learnt.
- Experience in organizing distributions and experience in the field of WaSH are considered an advantage
Do you meet the profile required criteria?
- Knowledge on Program Cycle Management
- Good understanding and experience with project budgets and financial management
- Proven knowledge and experience in proposal and report writing
- Experience in representation/external coordination
- Experience in working with partner organizations, capacity building and localization
- Knowledge on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene is considered as an advantage
- Experience in organizing distributions is considered as an advantage
- English Language fluency required, Russian / Romanian language is an asset
Our remuneration package:
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:
- Formal work contract: Long Term
- Base: Chisinau (Moldova)
- Salary: according to Action Against Hunger salary scale and to candidate’s previous experience.
This packaged includes:
- Non-accompanied position.
- Expatriate insurance (health, live, repatriation, travel, etc.)
- Break flights/trips to defined area: (break per diem: 215 EUR)
- Yearly holiday return flight ticket
- Accommodation and housing expenses (in shared guest house)
- Travel costs to and from the mission.
- 25 working days of paid leave per year.
