We are looking for a Product Systems Specialist and Sales Advisor to lead the anticipated $25 million USAID-funded DRC Rural and Peri-Urban Sanitation Activity. The Activity will implement high impact interventions that strengthen sanitation markets to increase sustained access to and use of basic sanitation services. The activity will build sanitation markets through interventions in the areas of sector governance, demand creation, finance, and supply side strengthening. The Actiivty will prioritize local capacity building, including a transition of implementation responsibilities to local entities.

Salary Range:
$56,000 (MINIMUM) - $70,000 (MID-POINT) - $84,000 (MAXIMUM)
The annual base salary range reflected above is in USD.* We value transparency and have provided the full salary range for this role. Actual base salary compensation may vary and will be determined by factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, experience, internal equity, external market analysis, and other business factors permitted by law. Hiring above the mid-point of the range would not be typical in order to allow for potential future salary growth. *Candidates approved to receive expatriate packages will receive the appropriate compensation and allowance package. For candidates approved to be hired directly through the local PSI office, pay and benefits will be commensurate with the role and practices of the local office, including payment in local currency.

Your contributions

Contribute to the development and implementation of the project's technical activities and strategy related to product development and sales Oversee achievement of related project deliverables and targets to ensure they are completed on time and in accordance with PSI quality standards. 50% of TimeContribute to development of project technical guidance. Provide technical assistance and/or training to build capacity of project staff, partners, and stakeholders to effectively deliver desired project results. 25% of TimeContribute to regular reporting on program activities, including documenting key learnings and guidelines. Contribute to the timely preparation and submission of project techncial reports for management and donors' decision making process. Synthesize lessons learnt documentation and dissemination of best practices. 15% of TimeUndertake regular field monitoring of technical activities to ascertain progress and utilization of resources against the workplan and make timely recommendations for follow-up. Provide inputs to the project's program management team for the development of budgets and budget realignments by project's program management team. 10% of Time

What are we looking for?

Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field. Master’s Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field preferred. At least 5 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted. Demonstrate solid technical knowledge development/engineering and sales of sanitation products for urban and peri-urban environments. Ability to provide technical assistance to project staff and external stakeholder with support. Ability to implement technical products and tools. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal colleagues. Able to work as a member of a team and independently Creative thinker with ability to contribute to technical approach. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. Proficiency in Microsoft 365. Familiarity with a quantitative or qualitative data analysis program preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) as well as the language of the applicable country and/or region.Cultural humility and respect.
