Purpose of Job
The role has responsibility for providing technical support and project management support with regard to the development and maintenance of the Nuclear Safety Department’s (NSD) IT infrastructure and reporting capacity. This includes reporting for internal and external stakeholders such as donors, Management, and other Bank departments interfacing with NSD. Current data sources encompass Bank and Donor SAP, CRA and IAM and reporting platforms such as Cognos and Tableau. Other IT systems may become relevant as the EBRD further develops its IT infrastructure. Key objectives in this area are to ensure the high reporting standards expected from NSD stakeholders are consistently met, NSD reporting capacity is continuously improved, and efficiency gains through the use of IT systems are harnessed.
NSD is committed to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its business processes. The role includes providing support in the analysis of current processes, the identification of parameters affecting the way in which a business process can be improved (in particular IT systems), the identification of improvement options, consultation with process stakeholders, and defining and documenting the new business process.
NSD is operating a flexible approach to allocating workload in line with business requirements. The role will support NSD operations in the areas of disbursements, financial control, and governance. The role includes the responsibilities of IT Coordinator and contributes to meeting the training needs of NSD staff in relevant areas such as IT and NSD processes.
The role will report to a designated Associate Director, Head of International Nuclear Safety Fund(s) and Team Leader. The objectives of the role will be achieved with close supervision by the line manager and will require consultation with a broad range of individuals within the NSD team and other key departments in the Bank.
