The National Security Manager – Philippines advises and assists the country leadership in security management reporting to the Regional Security Manager - Asia. This is an exciting position that comes with significant responsibility. The position is based in Makati, Philippines with travel to SP Philippines project locations. May require exposure to volatile and dangerous areas and situations.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of country security & safety challenges and emerging threats through the building of security relationships and the analysis of open source and confidential information.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with a broad variety of security & safety personnel who impact the security/safety of SP personnel such as police, military, other NGO/INGOs, US Embassy, UN, government leaders, and civilians.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous Security experience, particularly in the Philippines.
• Ability to coordinate activities and build positive relationships with agencies.
• Ability to understand complex security situations and advise program design.
• Possess the ability to analyze information to develop a complete security picture.
