Main purpose of the role

The Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to join the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to global efforts in ensuring access to essential supplies for sexual and reproductive health care.

The Manager, SRHR Supplies, will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and monitoring of CIFF's portfolio of projects related to SRHR supplies. They will work closely with partners and grantees to drive innovation, increase access, and improve the quality of SRHR supplies around the world.

Role's responsibilities

Strategy development and program design

Lead the development of the SRHR supplies strategy and contribute to the overall SRHR team strategy. Identify opportunities for innovation and collaborate with partners to design and implement new approaches to increase access to essential SRHR supplies. Ensure program design is based on evidence and best practices, and aligns with CIFF's vision and goals.

Grant management and partnership development

Manage a portfolio of grants related to SRHR supplies, including monitoring progress, evaluating impact, and ensuring compliance with CIFF's grantmaking policies. Develop new partnerships and nurture existing relationships with organizations working on SRHR supplies, including manufacturers, distributors, and service providers. Collaborate with grantees to build their organizational capacity and support project implementation.

Advocacy and thought leadership

Represent CIFF at conferences, meetings, and other events to advocate for increased access to SRHR supplies. Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by sharing insights, lessons learned, and best practices. Engage with key stakeholders, including policymakers, funders, and NGOs, to advance the SRHR supplies agenda.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

Extensive experience in program management, preferably in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights. Deep knowledge of SRHR supplies, including familiarity with different product categories, quality standards, and supply chain dynamics. Proven track record in designing and managing complex projects, including experience in grant management and partnership development. Demonstrated ability to apply evidence and best practices to program design and implementation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while also being self-motivated and able to work independently. Experience in advocacy and policy influencing is desirable. Understanding of the global SRHR landscape, including key actors, trends, and challenges. Ability to travel internationally, as required. Proficiency in English, with additional language skills preferred.

Benefits

The starting salary for this role is GBP 80,000.

CIFF operates a hybrid work policy across all locations, which means employees works some of the time from home. We are happy to provide more information on this as part of the recruitment process.

Alongside a competitive salary, we offer a generous benefits package here at CIFF that includes, but is not limited to the following. All these will be prorated to the fixed term.
