GIZ InS is currently implementing the EU funded project “Support to border management institution (MRCC)” in Tunisia. The project’s objective is to contribute to the improvement of Tunisia’s Search and Rescue (SAR) capacity through reinforced border management institutions to conduct SAR operations at sea and the fight against migrant smuggling and human being trafficking by supporting increased collaboration between Tunisian actors via a Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC). The project, by reinforcing the MRCC (methodologically and technologically), also supports increased inter-institutional collaboration with respect to the safety at sea and the rescue of people in need.
To support the implementation of the project, we are looking for a Junior Project Manager (m/f/d):
In close cooperation with experienced colleagues you will support the implementation and backstopping of the project. This will include:
Ensuring high quality project implementation through professional project management. Supporting the project team on site by acting as an interface with GIZ headquarters, donors and other stakeholders. Supporting the mobilization of short term experts. Ensuring high quality reporting in accordance with the donors’ requirements.Eschborn
