Description

We are looking for a proactive, dynamic, and team-oriented Cybersecurity and Architecture Security Consultant. You will work within a group of security minded and enthusiastic team players that provide technical advice, set security standards, perform risk assessments for cloud and on-premises solutions, address challenges, and participate in the development of robust security baselines and processes.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with Enterprise Architects and Application Development teams to design Security Architecture for applications and enterprise tech capabilities that included migrating to and integrating with Azure and O365, achieving high standards of security practices and compliance.
  • Drive the development and adoption of Azure cloud security standards, best practices, and technologies within Enterprise ITE Infrastructure
  • Design security controls using strong knowledge of NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and frameworks like OWASP, ISO, etc.
  • Provide security domain expertise to the various cloud operations and development teams, to design and integrate secure cloud architectures and methodologies across SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, serverless computing, and event-driven platforms.
  • As part of the security accreditation process, evaluate the security design and configuration of on-premises and cloud-based solutions, identifying potential security risks and recommending appropriate security controls to mitigate those risks.
  • Define and implement, in collaboration with Operations team, security standards for cloud-based technologies that support remote work. This includes, but is not limited to, securing direct remote access to applications, maintaining hardening baselines, and performing vulnerability management for corporate computing devices.
  • Participate in the implementation of new cloud-based solutions to improve the way remote access to Bank IT assets is granted to contractors and vendors providing services to the Bank including secure remote maintenance of facilities equipment.

    What you'll need

    • Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Computer Science, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
    • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in in cybersecurity, IT operations, and software development or architecture.
    • Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.

        • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
        • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
