Tätigkeitsbereich

The GIZ project Make-IT in Africa is looking for an intern to support its full range of project activities.

The GIZ project “Make-IT in Africa” is a regional (pan-African) technical assistance project commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation (BMZ). Make-IT in Africa aims to empower entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems to support digital transformation in Africa. More information about the program is available at the following link: www.make-it.africa. The project implements various co-financing, e.g. the \"Africa-Europe Digital Innovation Bridge\" (AEDIB|NET) of the EU.

Support the team with project management of a wide diversity of workstreams within Make-IT in Africa Fulfilling tasks set out by team members from several workstreams Attending meetings and taking minutes Performing research, co-develop and assist in implementing new concepts to support innovation ecosystems in Africa Co-design project strategies, programmes, and reports Communication support

Ihr Profil

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Economic, Social or Political Sciences, Innovation Studies, STEM or similar You are creative, full of ideas and eager to try out new things You are familiar with design thinking methodologies, you like networking and fostering collaboration between unlikely allies You can work semi-autonomously in a diverse and agile team You have profound digital skills (MS Office, MS Teams, etc.) You are fluent in English with German or French as an added advantage

Please be informed that you are only allowed to apply for this internship, if you are currently enrolled as a student or graduated not longer than six months ago from the start of your internship.

We pay a monthly stipend of €2.064,- (gross).
