But only when combined do they unleash their true power. Launched by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Commission (EC), the #SmartDevelopmentFund (#SDF) was initially launched to scale 8 digital solutions to support the global south addressing the COVID pandemic’s challenges. Leveraging its learnings from its first project phase on the potential of digitization in strengthening local resilience and fostering feminist development, the #SDF is currently paving its way towards untapping the opportunity for digitization in driving a twin transition that is just and inclusive.
As part of your internship, your responsibilities will include:
Support with the implementation and coordination of the winning projects of the #SmartDevelopmentFund/ Digital & Green Innovation Assist with the organization of the Digital & Green Innovation (DGIx) Pitch Event taking place in January 2024 Assist with the organization of new innovation competitions focused on Twin Transition Design of communication materials (factsheets, power point slides, project articles) Support with internal workshops and international conferences Research background information, supporting the processes of the #SmartDevelopmentFund Assist the project’s knowledge management, e.g. identifying and documenting good organizational practices Take over tasks in day-to-day business and support of administrative processesPlease be informed that you are only allowed to apply for this internship, if you are currently enrolled as a student or graduated not longer than six months ago from the start of your internship.
We pay a monthly stipend of €2.064,- (gross).
