The global Fund for the Promotion of Innovation in Agriculture (i4Ag) is part of the Special Initiative „Transformation of Agricultural and Food Systems“ (SI AGER). The fund identifies and promotes innovations in the agri-food sector on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). As part of the emergency programme, additional measures are implemented beyond innovation support that intend to mitigate economic and political consequences, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the war against Ukraine. The fund is in the division “Rural Development and Agriculture\" in the Sector and Global Programs Department of GIZ (GloBe).
Gender, diversity and postcolonialism form an increasingly important interface in our day-to-day work at project, department, and division level. The i4Ag Fund is looking for support to address these topics in the project implementation, to coordinate them on divisional level and to drive them forward on departmental level.

During your intership you will support the following tasks:
Support the Fund, as well as the gender and diversity focal persons at project and division level by providing organizational and technical support, such as conducting research, analyses, technical assessments, and processing information Support in the documentation of internal and external meetings Support in the planning, implementation and follow-up of (especially virtual) events Support in the preparation of publications as well as informational materials Coordination/networking with other projects and divisions as well as with company-wide initiatives and structures Participation in gender and diversity exchanges at divisional, departmental and company level Development of technical/conceptual ideas for the (further) development of measuresPlease be informed that you are only allowed to apply for this internship, if you are currently enrolled as a student or graduated not longer than six months ago from the start of your internship.
We pay a monthly stipend of €2.064,- (gross).
