About this position:
The Finance and Administration Department (FNA) covers the following divisions: Controllership; Analytics and Information Technology; Operations; and Treasury. The Controllership Division is responsible for accounting, financial reporting and budget operations, as well as overseeing corporate resource administration to support IDB Invest’s business needs. The Accounting teams within the Controllership Division are responsible for all accounting and financial reporting functions, including establishing accounting policies and monitoring compliance with US generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP); assessing the accounting implications of IDBI products, transactions, and business events; monitoring, controlling and overseeing preparation of accounting records; and preparing IDBI financial statements.
The Controllership Division is looking to hire an accounting analyst consultant within the Accounting Policy team. This position requires a strong technical US GAAP knowledge, the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively, strong oral and written communication skills, and sound judgment. The analyst will interact regularly with other FNA teams, investment teams, and external auditors.
