Provides critical administrative, technical or program support to Human Resources (HR) Team in functional areas including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administrative, HRIS, training, and security management. Responsible for the execution of HR administrative processes and support for the Human Resources team. Interacts extensively with multi-site employees and managers and the broader Human Resources organization. Answers questions for customers/clients using knowledge of principles and practices of human resources and company procedures.
Accountabilities:
Provides administrative support in maintaining of HR record keeping system (HRIS, Workday & TESS), software maintenance and manipulation, HR SharePoint and preparation of payroll and maintaining hard copy personnel files.
Provides support in the recruitment process and undertakes tasks related to invitations for interviews, candidates interview scheduling, and orientation packet coordination.
Follows HR practices for timely and legal filing of benefits, routine immigration administration, submission of necessary, submission of reports to Labor.
Prepares , files, and tracks purchase requisitions for HR department.
To provide support on issues relating to Security and Safety such as ensuring that fire equipment is serviced and all doors and windows are functional, conducting fire drills and drafting of security plans.
Assist with offering Technical Assistance to Implementing Partners.
Work with manager to create, maintain and distribute HR reports.
Has a solid understanding of all human resource functional areas and is familiar with internal policies and procedures. Suggests improvements and helps implement changes as needed.
Assists other HR staff with employee relations by maintaining employer- employee relationships that contribute to excellent productivity, motivation and morale.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Errors may negatively impact departmental functions and deadlines.
Works under direct supervision and follows specific instructions; work is subject to regular review.

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Administration or any related field.
1-3 years of experience providing administrative support in an office setting.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and HRIS/Payroll systems.
Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO).
Typical office environment.
Ability to spend long hours looking at computer screen and doing repetitive work on a keyboard.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift/move up to 5 lbs.
