The Opportunity

Ashoka in Europe is looking for an Events Management intern to support the organization of the global Changemaker Summit, happening in November 2022.

The candidate will join the Europe Communications & Marketing team and will be working closely with dedicated and enthusiastic professionals across Ashoka, with flexible working hours and autonomy to lead on projects that she/he is interested in.

The ideal candidate:

Is comfortable working and writing in English Is interested or has experience in event management and protocol Attention to detail and analytical skills, experience in project management is a plus Is not afraid of learning new technologies Able to multi-task and innovate efficiently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Is excited to be part of the design and organization of an international event

The Event Management intern will work on:

The candidate will be working closely with the Ashoka Changemaker Summit director, supporting the coordination of all the people and elements involved in the design of the international Changemaker Summit 2022, taking place in November. The intern will be expected to help in:

Liaising with colleagues and external partners to gather information, bios, agenda items, etc. Managing and updating databases and invitation lists Managing the online event platform on Swapcard Take notes and follow up on meetings related to the event Analyse the information and data related to the event, for reporting and feedback
