Background Information – Kenya Multi Country Office (KEMC)
Located in Nairobi, Kenya, the Kenya Multi Country Office manages a growing portfolio of engagements. The KEMC sub-region currently consists of an established Multi Country Office in Nairobi/Kenya which manages a portfolio of engagements in multiple countries in East and South Africa, including Zambia where UNOPS is physically present. The current portfolio includes transactional projects in partnership with the UN Agencies based in Nairobi and elsewhere in the sub-region, such as UN-Habitat, UNEP, WHO and UNHCR and multiple ‘operational’ projects in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Zambia.

Under the guidance and supervision of the Project Associate Engineer, the driver will be responsible for providing reliable and secure driving services and ensuring proper use of the vehicle as per the organization policy. The position requires the incumbent to have a client-oriented approach, high standards of professionalism and responsibility, good communication skills, courtesy, tact and the ability to work with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
Secondary education is required; Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a driver with a safe driving record is required;
Knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in minor vehicle repairs is an asset.
Language Requirements:Contract type, level and duration
