About this position

The Travel, Security, and General Service Group (TSG) from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is looking for an innovative, analytical, client focus, and collaborative professional to support TSG in the execution of various projects.

The Travel, Security, and General Services Group (TSG) of the Budget and Administrative Services Department (BDA) is responsible for the Bank's Corporate Security Program at Headquarters (HQ) and Country Offices (COF), manages the Corporate Travel Program, and oversees the provision of Corporate Services. The Corporate Security Program manages HQ Security, COF Security, and Organizational Resilience, including crisis management and business continuity. The Corporate Travel Program manages the travel management company, business travel documents unit, and travel insurance, negotiates airline and hotel agreements, and provides outsourcing services for offsite events. Corporate Services include the administration of food services, custodial services, correspondence, and printing services, commuting services, and childcare and backup care services at HQ.

What you’ll do

·Support Group Head and Contract Managers by developing business cases, dynamic presentations, reports, and analyses and maintaining/creating inventories of the different services and initiatives of the group.

·Support TSG in the maintenance of analytic dashboards and specialized reports.

·Assist with budget processes and auditing of payments, including but not limited to invoice and chargeback processing, creation of shopping carts, and review of credit card transactions, among others.

·Assist in the update and translations of internal regulations and procedures and other documents.

·Assist in the preparations of communications, marketing, and training materials for different campaigns and initiatives and update the websiteinformation as needed.

· Organize and host promotional events, information tables, and conferences organized by the Group.

·Assist general services, including performing inspections and supervision of on-site corporate services.

What you’ll need

·Education: Bachelor of Arts in business administration, international relations, or another relevant field.

·Experience: 2 years of experience

·Languages: Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Core and Technical Competencies

The consultant must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Experience developing business cases, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Practical knowledge of using certain systems like SAP, PowerBi, and ServiceNow desirable.
