Work LocationHome-based Expected duration2 May-20 June 2024 Duties and Responsibilitiesa) Provide inputs to the draft GlobE Network Model agreement for sharing of information between GlobE Network members by suggesting wording, developing a summary of key observations and reflecting the feedback received from the Steering Committee; (b) Develop a concept note on the casework support provided by the GlobE Network outlining the complementarity of the service, indicating the types of support and the tools needed; (c) Design a process map (process flow structure) to support the IT development of a Library of Services (d) Populate the designed map with the information of the service provided by the GlobE Network and the Stolen Asset Recovery (StAR) Initiative. Qualifications/special skills• An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in law, international relations or related area is required. A first level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. • A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in crime prevention and criminal justice area with an emphasis on anti-corruption and asset recovery is required. • Advisory or managerial experience in complex legal environments, such as specialized anti-corruption law enforcement authorities, or experience in leading teams in international organizations with a related mandate, is desirable. • Work experience in international cooperation, in particular, anti-corruption law enforcement cooperation, is desirable • Experience with the work and priorities of the United Nations is desirable. • Excellent drafting and communication skills is required. Languages• English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this consultancy, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an advantage. Additional InformationNot available.
