Master’s degree in engineering or related discipline. Minimum five years of experience with aspects of aircraft engineering in military or civilian aircraft programmes, aircraft systems and/or associated equipment, requirements capture and specification of Uncrewed Air Vehicle (UAV) and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems including certification and airworthiness issues. Minimum three years of experience with ground system engineering activities in major complex military projects with aspects of requirements capture and specification, design reviews, testing and introduction of new capabilities. Previous experience in managing engineering projects and having exercised responsibility in life cycle management as well as systems in-service support in a military environment at higher senior officer level or civil service equivalent. Thorough knowledge in aircraft/aerospace engineering, airworthiness regulations with emphasis on system engineering at senior staff or management level. Minimum seven years of experience in the field of procurement, training, maintenance, configuration control, inventory management, Quality Control (QC), transportation and logistics supply chain management for air assets in a sizeable civilian or military organisation. Good background knowledge of maintenance and supply practices and procedures in the aerospace environment. Thorough experience in logistics, Italian Airworthiness Framework and European Military Airworthiness Requirement (EMAR) regulations at senior staff or management level of a sizeable civilian or military organisation.
