Master’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent. Experience in managing a manufacturing plant or depot level maintenance (DLM) or Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul (MRO) facility, preferably in the automotive, aerospace or defence sector. Demonstrated leadership experience in a relevant civilian or military organisation. Good background in electronics, mechanics and optics, of recent developments in this field, and applicable manufacturing and support techniques. Very good knowledge and practical experience of Quality Assurance (QA) and production control. A recognised project management certification [e.g. PRINCE 2™ Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP)]. Knowledge of the Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wire-guided missile (TOW), Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS), Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV), Panzerhowitzer 2000, Global Positioning System (GPS) User Equipment and/or Night Vision (NV) equipment.
