ECODIT seeks applications from Mongolian nationals for long-term and short-term positions under the anticipated Mongolia Energy Governance Activity funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID). The Mongolia Energy Governance Activity seeks aims to promote development, implementation of, and adherence to existing laws related to competitive and transparent processes that will (a) incentivize private investment; (b) boost the utilization of new advanced energy generation and management technologies; (c) increase resilience to natural and human induced shocks (including cyber attacks); and (d) promote a secure, stable, diversified, and modern, and ultimately, self-reliant Mongolian energy sector., thus contributing to both self-reliance in Mongolia and furthering the goals of USAID’s ASIA EDGE strategy.
This is expected to be a five-year activity based in/around Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. ECODIT seeks qualified candidates to support a range of activities over the life of the project, per the following requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in International Development, Economics, Public Policy, Energy, Engineering, or other relevant field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience working on donor funded activities (experience supporting USAID projects preferred);
