Creative is preparing for an anticipated USAID-funded education project that seeks to improve learning outcomes in primary education for children across the country of Mozambique through innovative program models and sustainability driven designs. The program is an exciting opportunity to improve on existing activity models and introduce new innovative ways to partner with Government and local level bodies for change in education.

Responsibilities

Candidates with prior experience in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:

  • Curriculum & Materials Development Specialist
  • Education Policy and Government Liaison Officer
  • Linguistic/Bilingual Education Officer
  • Gender, Social Inclusion & Positive Youth Development Specialist
  • Community, Parental Engagement & Systems Strengthening Specialist
  • M&E and Research Coordinators

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, International Development, or related field, an advanced degree is preferred.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in the technical fields listed above in Mozambique

  • Experience working with donor-funded programming, experience working with USAID programming is highly preferred.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; and

  • English and Portuguese language skills preferred. Local language skills preferred for early grade reading, curriculum and training positions
