General Qualifications

University degree, preferably in engineering or related discipline, equivalent to Master’s.  Ability to promote international cooperation and to participate in and chair international meetings efficiently. Knowledge of contract administration and management. Experience in weapon system life cycle and project management. Experience in IT Service Management.   Ability to facilitate/present persuasively to gain buy-in and effective negotiations skills to achieve desired outcomes including business growth. Ability to multi-task, manage time and work effectively under pressure while producing high-quality products under short-notice deadlines. Ability to develop resourceful and effective solutions to complex problems , ability to set performance goals and expectations, to develop policy and metrics, to measure performance and to engage problems early to mitigate risk and redirect performance. Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS Ten years of experience in complex military weapon system programmes. Good knowledge of aircraft and ground components engineering, logistic and life-cycle management practices and procedures at senior staff or management level. Proficiency in technical writing and in the use of aircraft/equipment Technical Data (TD) publications. Good knowledge of the governance structure of the Aerospace & Defence specifications. Previous experience in Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) and S1000D-compliant technical documentation management systems. Thorough knowledge of the S-Series of the Aerospace & Defense specifications and especially S1000D, S2000M and S3000L. Thorough knowledge of best practices for IT Service Management. Thorough knowledge of Configuration Management processes, standards and specifications.
LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
NATO's two official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable.   WHAT DO WE OFFER?
