The recent war in Ukraine have led over 5.7 million refugees to flee over the borders from Ukraine and a further 7.7 million have been displaced within Ukraine. The estimated 13 million people that are stranded in Ukraine face shortages of basic needs such as water, food and medicine.
3,143,550 refugees have crossed the Polish border, 453,848 refugees have crossed the Moldavian border and 856,941 refugees the Romanian border.
This situation has led ACF France to open three missions in Ukraine, Poland and Romania and ACF Spain in Moldova.
In Poland, in Warsaw and Rzeszow, ACF implements projects with partners and close collaboration with government authorities. In the future, we would like to implement direct MHPSS activities in the country considering the consequences of the war.
Under the management of the Country Director Poland & Romania, you will coordinate, supervise and develop ACF intervention in Poland.
More specifically, your role is to:
You have a Master’s degree in project management or international relations with at least 5 years of professional experience within which 2 years of humanitarian field experience with an (I)NGO. You have at least 2 years in a managerial role and you already worked in different contexts and settings (urban areas, rural areas, in volatile security context, in development and emergency settings …). You have experiences in support services and programme procedures and good negotiation skills
