British Red Cross are looking for an experienced WASH Programme Manager to join the IFRC Country Office in Yangon, Myanmar. Within IFRC Country Office annual operational plan (OP) you will provide support to Myanmar Red Cross, on water, sanitation and hygiene promotion interventions focusing on ensuring access to safe water, provision of latrines, promotion of Menstrual Hygiene Management and reduction in risk of hygiene-related diseases such as epidemics and pandemics as part of the integrated programming approach but also to support different emergencies.

The WASH Programme Manager will assist the Myanmar Red Cross Society to reach its aims in WASH provision to vulnerable communities by providing technical support and capacity development.

The WASH Programme Manager will be part of the Asia Pacific Regional Health & WASH Team reporting into the Health Programme Manager in Yangon and technical links to the Regional WASH coordinator in Kuala Lumpur. The WASH Programme Manager is also a member of the Global WASH Team supporting the IFRC's programmatic vision for WASH and its translation into programmatic interventions.

We are looking for someone with significant programme management experience in WASH who has experience managing public health programmes. You will need outstanding leadership skills and the ability to form strong working relationships across a variety of stakeholders.
