Role purpose

This new role, with ShelterBox Operations Philippines, is dedicated to delivering the safe and orderly running of our warehouse and to deliver the logistics and operational (not corporate) procurement activities essential to providing quality emergency shelter support

You will be required to be hands-on in managing the warehouse and stock movements, but also to maintain accurate records, to coordinate disaster response logistics working with ShelterBox headquarters in the UK, and to build effective working relationships with service providers, local Government offices, and operational partners to ensure smooth operations.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced warehouse and logistics professional with humanitarian experience. Someone who is motivated, proactive and diligent, and is comfortable with Warehouse Management Systems, complex post-disaster domestic logistics, warehouse safety and security, and some direct-spend procurement.

We are looking for someone to fit into a dynamic environment with competing workload demands.

The individual should be confident and proactive in developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues, suppliers, service providers, and partners. The individual should be comfortable working as part of a small, productive team as well as independently. Due to the nature of the work which ShelterBox Operations Philippines undertakes, there are often periods of high-pressure and working in a fast-paced environment.

This role will be based at the ShelterBox Operations Philippines office in Cebu, with time also spent at the warehouse in Mandaue.
