PSI seeks a Senior Strategic Cost & Pricing Officer to lead cost and pricing strategies and risk analysis, and lead the budget development process for bids and proposals, dedicated to the global fundraising team and working directly with technical and field teams. The successful candidate will be an integrated and critical member of the proposal design team ensuring the budget is in line with the proposal work plan/scope, cost recovery, funder requirements, and compliance with PSI policy and guidance. The Senior Strategic Cost & Pricing Officer will be familiar with budget development for various types of funders in the field of international development.
This position will be based in Washington, DC and will report to the Director, Corporate Budget and Cost & Pricing with dedicated support to the global fundraising function. PSI will consider remote work for this position.

Basics
The successful candidate will be required to pass a background check.
What would get us excited?
You have experience developing cost proposals for USAID and PSI's other major funders, such as DFID, Gates Foundation, the Global Fund, and KfW.
You have experience working with or on program implementation/operation teams.
You have experience on developing innovative budgets for non-traditional bids, such as impact investing, pay for performance, deliverable-based, etc.
You have French and/or Spanish language skills.
You have experience preparing and presenting in-house training sessions. The C&P team presents trainings several times a year on various budgeting topics.
Need to be able to work well in a team environment and support team members by balancing the workload.
