The Opportunity
The Project Coordinator will be based in Tunis and manage the implementation of a child protection capacity strengthening project for civil society actors working with migrant and refugee children in Libya and Tunisia. The Child Protection capacity strengthening project is funded by the Regional Development and Protection Programme (RDPP) and includes frequent interaction and communication with international and local actors. The Project Coordinator should ensure that all aspects of work are undertaken in accordance with Save the Children’s Policies. Frequent travel to the South of Tunisia will be required (no travels to Libya are expected).

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* BS/BA or MA Degree in teaching, social work or social sciences
* Experience in project management
* Experience in working with at-risk children and families, ideally experience in the migration context
* Experience in community mobilisation and/or working with local civil society
* Understanding of social welfare systems and child protection mechanisms
* Ability to write reports in English
* Fluency in written and spoken French and Arabic
* Ability to manage stress, be flexible and accommodating in difficult working circumstances
* Ability to maintain consistent high standards of professional behavior and achievement when working independently and as part of a team.
