Australian Red Cross is recruiting Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Coordinators to join our international aid worker (delegate) register.

We deploy PMER Coordinators in response to international humanitarian events such as natural disasters or protracted crises, as well as on development assignments to strengthen the PMER capacity of Red Cross National Societies.

A PMER Coordinators primary task is to support the Emergency Operation in ensuring quality and timely delivery of all plans and reports to assist in an effective and strategic humanitarian response. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the design and implementation of quality PMER framework and processes within an operation. Working with relevant team members, the Coordinator will develop quality plans for, as well as strengthen project quality, performance and impact for effective delivery during the response. This includes providing technical a nd strategic advice and guidance to operational leadership (either within the relevant National Society or the IFRC) and to technical program managers on all areas of PMER - planning, monitoring, evaluation/review, reporting, learning and accountability.

PMER Coordinators are often part of the initial team responding to disasters and crises; as such their ability to operate safely and independently in extremely challenging environments is pivotal to their success, and that of the broader team.
