Education:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Political Science, Military Studies, Security Management, Management or formal education in Security Management, such as military or police, Junior Command and Staff College.
Formal training in security risk management.
Experience:
A minimum of 4 years of relevant security-related experience with Bachelor’s degree or 2 years if applicant is in possession of a Master’s Degree in a relevant security field. Such experience may include in Military, Police, Emergency Services, Commercial Security Management or similar roles in UN/other International Organisations. Prior experience with the UN system or an international NGO is desirable.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, knowledge of another UN language is an asset
