Finance Officer – BARMM (Nationals Only)

The Role
A member of the Program Office Finance Team responsible for ensuring compliance to SCP finance policies and procedure, standards and local laws and regulations. The FO enforces internal control through review and monitoring of financial transactions and documents to safeguard SCP resources and reporting the status of grant budgets.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential
* Bachelor degree in accounting
* At least 3 years work experience in finance with at least 1 year NGO experience
* Knowledge of grant financial management
* Supervisory experience
* Experience in the use of accounting packages
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multi-task and work on tight deadlines
* High sense of urgency and well-developed work ethic
* Understanding of Save the Children vision and mission and commitment to its objecives
* Willing to adopt Save the Children methodology and framework in program implementation
* Abide by and implement Save the Children Eight Agency Policies including Child Safety

Desirable
* CPA
* SUN system and/or Agresso systems experience
* International NGO experience
* International non-profit work experience
* Multi-cultural work experience

Contract length: Fixed Term Position until June 2021 year based in Cotabato City
