We are looking for:

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Manager

Main responsibilities:

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Manager role will be one of the key positions in executing NRC’s digital strategy.

  • Manage and deliver large and complex ERP engagements to identify design and implement creative business and technology solutions for key functions across NRC globally;
  • Manage engagement risk, project economics, planning and budgeting up to hand-off to an operational framework set-up;
  • At the initial stage, manage the implementation and deployment of NRC People tool, built on Oracle HCM Cloud (seven modules are to be implemented including Recruitment, Talent Suite and Learning);
  • Act as ERP Project focal point for NRC’s Digital Transformation Advisory Board and/or the ERP governing body.
  • Coordinate on a daily basis, internal resources, third party partners/vendors and external consultants for the execution of the ERP systems;
  • Develop detailed project plans and feature roadmaps to communicate ambition and track progress;
  • Apply appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs;
  • Map key processes needed for the ERP system, within and beyond NRC’s functional unit’s framework and contribute to establishing processes where these do not exist;
  • Lead the change process while the system is being implemented including overseeing the organisation of trainers/change managers in each NRC geographical region;
  • Ensure effective quality assurance of the overall integrity of the system (or release) before transitioning into production;
  • Ensure the deployment and up-dating of user guides and documentation;
  • Facilitate field/user testing of the solution and feedback loops to developers/supplier;
  • Engage with peer organisations to share learning, best practices and trends in ERP implementation across humanitarian and development organisations;
  • Explore future trends in ERP development and integration (AI, IoT, advanced analytics), contributing to NRC’s digital transformation ambition-setting.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s education in information technology or equivalent;
  • Project Management certification is highly valued (Prince2, PMI, MDP or similar);
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in PMO/project management roles on ERP projects;
  • Experience working with global ERP implementations, including diverse geographies and cultures, multiple functional departments and different stakeholder levels and matrix reporting lines;
  • Proven understanding of business unit functions with a strong bias in HR;
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Programmes (Project, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge or previous engagement with Oracle and/or Unit4 ERP solutions is considered an advantage
  • Experience in working with sensitive information and user-interaction;
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
