OBJECTIVES

The Desk Africa is aimed at achieving the following objectives:

• Planning, development, management and monitoring of the activities of projects supported by ACAV in Africa.

• Continuous verification of the quality of interventions and full compliance with contractual procedures and obligations with institutional donors

• Consolidation and expansion of the network of institutional donors through the research, development and presentation of project proposals in accordance with the ACAV strategy in particular with the upcoming AICS calls.

ACTIVITIES

• Development and implementation of project activities in the various phases (identification of donors, design, drafting of documents, monitoring, evaluation, reporting), in collaboration with the offices in Africa.

• Development of financial reports following the rules of donors and reports (narrative and financial) for internal use.

• Development of project procedures and tools in collaboration with the offices in Africa.

• Supervision of the preparation of all necessary documentation for the purposes of financial and narrative reporting.

• Support for the development of project proposals for private and public donors.

• Monitoring of the project budget and sources of funding.

• Coordination of project monitoring and evaluation activities, including with donors.

EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in economics and / or political science and / or international and diplomatic sciences

Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, of which at least 2 in the management of complex projects (MAE / EU) in Italy or abroad

Excellent knowledge of design and Project Cycle Management

Experience in managing and monitoring activities and budgets

Fluency in English

Knowledge of issues relating to development cooperation

Ability to build relationships and relate with project partners and institutional stakeholders.

Work site Trento, Via Sighele, 3. The position is full-time and requires availability to travel abroad.
