Community Development Officer – Search Project (Nationals Only)

The Role
The Community Development Officer will be responsible for assuring efficient and high-quality implementation of Cash transfer Program (CTP) for livelihoods programming. He/she will work closely with the Livelihood Specialist to develop detailed implementation plans for project activities, developing appropriate implementation tools to track progress and monitor the context. Ensure that projects are according to communities’ needs. This role will be the main point of contact with community members at the field level and will lead on beneficiary identification and verification, monitoring and data collection and distribution of assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelors Degree
* Organisation, management and negotiation skills
* Good communication skills
* Previous experience in humanitarian setting
* Prepared to work under pressure
* Honest and motivated
* Knowledge of Lanao Del Sur and Norte areas, as appropriate
* At least 4 years previous experience in a community development role
* Previous experience working with humanitarian organizations
* Previous experience in project management, training and capacity building of staff
* Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc)

Desirable
* Understanding of monitoring and evaluation in humanitarian contexts
* experience working on cash, voucher or food distributions or other food security programming
* able to work with minimum level of supervision
* good English, Marano speaking and writing

Contract length: Fixed Term position until December 31, 2020 based in Iligan City
