The Cash & Voucher Assistance Officer will contribute to the establishment of Cash & Voucher programming for Action Against Hunger - Syria, in collaboration with operational partners. She/he will be required to work with the technical and support teams at mission level to assist in program design and implementation in order to ensure the quality and competitiveness of Action Against Hunger CVA (Cash & Voucher Assistance) programs. He/she will also represent Action Against Hunger in different forums and technical working groups linked to CVA in-country, and in close coordination with technical coordinators.
Objective 1: To ensure effective feasibility analysis and the design of CVA activities in the mission:
Objective 2: To ensure successful implementation and monitoring of CVA activities according to Action Against Hunger and humanitarian agreed standards and protocols:
Objective 3: To contribute to building capacity of Action Against Hunger and implementing partner staff according to the needs identified:
Significant experience of Cash & Vouchers Assistance and Market Assessments.
Knowledge of Project Cycle Management (Logical Framework Approach) Management of projects, including remote and in volatile security contexts.
Basic knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation concepts Reporting.
One year of professional experience in the humanitarian field in similar position.
Basic knowledge of project cycle management.
Excellent command of both Arabic and English languages.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office .
Ability to travel within and outside of the country.
Formal work contract: 6 months.
Base: Damascus
Salary: As per Syria Mission Salary Scale.
