where it started its activities in the city of Aleppo north of Syria and was licensed in turkey in 2014

Job Title: Case Worker

Reported to: Program Manager
Location: Gaziantep/Turkey
Job purpose:
To work in accordance with the general objectives and principles of the project, to work in coordination with teammates, and to report all processes at desired intervals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the provision of direct, effective, high-quality case management services (identification, referral, follow up, and closure) in compliance with protection standards
Undertake rapid and detailed assessments of beneficiaries
Provide counseling calls for beneficiaries
Accompany beneficiaries when necessary
Translate supporting documents and act as an interpreter when required
Support the service mapping activities
Document all services (paper or electronic) provided to beneficiaries
Apply principles of confidentiality for all beneficiaries including all written documents.
Ensure accurate data entry of all cases
Keep communication with the communities, provide up to date information on available services
Prepare weekly work plan
Participate in all training and orientation meetings
Undertake other tasks as required
Academic Qualifications:
Requirements:
1 year of professional/voluntary experience preferably with a humanitarian organization
Prior experience in working with children is an asset
Proficiency in MS Office suits, and google tools
Language: Fluency in Arabic is required. Working knowledge of English or Turkish is a plus
A general understanding of the refugee situation in Gaziantep
Skills:
Excellent communication, reporting, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Commitment to humanitarian principles and values
Good team player, capable of working with a multicultural team and culturally sensitive
Ability to cope with stress; work under pressure often to strict deadlines
