CRIMEDIM - Center for Research and Training in Disaster Medicine, Humanitarian Aid and Global Health, with a broad experience in promoting and coordinating research and training projects in emergency and disaster medicine, is looking for a training specialist in emergency and disaster medicine to be included in a multidisciplinary and international team based in Novara, Italy.
The professional will be involved in a multidisciplinary and international environment and s/he will oversee the planning and management of innovative training projects in disaster and humanitarian settings in close collaboration with the scientific coordinator.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your responsibilities will include:

· Coordination of a team working on education and training in emergency and disaster medicine within ongoing European and World Health Organization projects.

· Development and coordination of pioneering training projects for health professionals in disaster response and humanitarian assistance.

· Planning and organization of simulation exercises, training events, and workshops.

· Participation in research activities related to disaster education.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· Physicians, Nurses or Paramedics qualification.

· Relevant knowledge of the emergency, disaster, and humanitarian landscape.

· Previous experience in planning and delivering training courses in the field of emergency and disaster medicine.

· Great interest in technologies and new tools to improve the effectiveness of emergency and disaster response.

· Ability to use academic search engines.

· Strong interpersonal and relationship skills to communicate effectively with diverse organizations, professions, and backgrounds.

· Ability to work both independently and in a team.

· Fluency in English speaking and writing.

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION

One-year fixed term contract (renewable).
Compensation will be determined based on the experience and qualifications of the successful applicant.
