Background:

The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD) is looking for additional Cleaners to establish a roster of candidates willing to serve on a short-term basis in future. The incumbent will be responsible for cleaning and keeping in orderly condition the kintchen of the OSCE POiD Office.

NOTE: The selected candidates will be on a roster and might be contacted as per operational need.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Under guidance and supervision of the National Building Maintenance Officer performs the following duties:

Cleaning all kitchen utensils on a daily basis. Washing and drying all crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils after each meal; Washing used dishes deposited by staff members in kitchen; Keeping cleaning equipment clean and in working order; advises the supervisor of the need to replace identified equipment; Placing glasses, cups, drinking water and tea/coffee on tables, arranging chairs in kitchen; Serving refreshments and meals to visiting officials; Replenishing soap and paper towel dispensers; Disinfect the kitchen once a week; Replacing the office cleaners when/if required; Perform other duties as required.

Necessary Qualifications:

Primary education; Minimum one year experience as a cleaner with knowledge of simple machine operations and use of cleaning materials/solutions; Knowledge of Russian and Tajik; Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, and an ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities. Ability and willingness to work as a member of team, with people of different cultural, and religious backgrounds, different gender, and diverse political views, while maintaining impartiality and objectivity.

Remuneration Package:

Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions, is 375.5 EUR. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme.
