Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist to serve as a strategic partner in attracting top talent for both staff and proposal recruitment. This role is part of a fast-paced environment that manages a high volume of open positions throughout the year. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with an ingrained sense of urgency but also possess a sense of humor and shares our commitment to providing a successful candidate experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a load of 10 – 15 active and proposed requisitions
  • Proactively manage full life-cycle recruitment campaigns for staff positions and proposal submissions including management of sourcing, interview, selection, and closing process
  • Support workplace diversity and build strong network of skilled professionals
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs, developing job descriptions/specifications, and hiring strategies
  • Align the recruitment of each position to the overall strategy and utilize diverse sourcing mechanisms to proactively identify potential key personnel
  • Provide timely progress updates on pipelining, interview, and placement activity to hiring managers
  • Establish recruitment networks with regional institutions in Africa, Asia and LAC regions
  • Format resumes into Jhpiego’s standard format for bid submission as needed
  • Manage all communication with key personnel after proposal submission and until a funding decision has been determined by the donor
  • Maintain open position report and track recruitment activity, analysis and metrics
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures and federal and state regulations with regard to all recruitment practices
  • Backstop other recruitment activities and special projects as needed
