The Zambia Country Office Digital Strategy (2022-2025) describes how the office will transform its operational systems and structures through three (3) main pillars. 1. Digital Transformation 2. The Country Office will not only use digital technologies to enhance business processes but will take this opportunity to train staff on the use of digital technology as we approach the fourth industrial revolution. In addition, this strategy will support the achievement of the Strategic Plan (2022-2025) by fostering new ways of collaborating with other partners, creating environments and systems that drive and support innovation, and building new capabilities to develop and apply digital solutions that will enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of our work.
Keeping in line with the corporate and CO Digital Strategy, UNDP Zambia will implement a SharePoint Online Project aimed at improving and optimizing the way the CO manages documents with smart attachments and sharing with external personnel; collaboration among team members with easier co-editing and sharing of calendar and allowing business process automation.
UNDP Zambia seeks to engage an intern to assist with the development and implementation of the SharePoint Online Project. The SharePoint Coordinator intern will work closely with the Digital Team to support the implementation of the #NEXGEN CO SharePoint Project under the direct supervision of the Management Analyst.
Responsibilities of the Intern are primarily to assist with the development and implementation of SharePoint Project through the following activities:
Post-production Application Support: Review/monitor the SharePoint online site weeklyProvide timely response to site queriesSupport the maintenance and updating of the SharePoint siteParticipate in weekly Digital Team meetingsProject Management: Provide weekly progress report on the SharePoint site development objectives, implementation of work plan, and resultsOrganize and maintain notes and agenda for meetings; manage the issues list to expedite and take corrective actionOther: Support other/ad hoc activities as seen relevant and needed.

Candidates must meet one of the following educational requirements:
be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); orbe enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent); orhave graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) in a degree programme in a relevant discipline (computer science or equivalent) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation
