Know our team

Nutrition International’s Program Operations Unit is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of Nutrition International’s core program interventions including program development, design, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting, and grant management, including setting annual operational planning, budgeting and review processes. The unit comprises a global team of professionals located in our 10 core countries across Asia, Africa and our headquarters in Ottawa, Canada.

About you

You are someone who has proven experience in designing, implementing, and supervising monitoring, data collection and management and reporting for donor funded multi-country complex programs including development of performance metrics and frameworks to benchmark systems improvements and achievement of results. You have an MBA or master’s degree in public health, international development, social sciences, or other relevant discipline. You have seven (7) years of demonstrated experience monitoring and evaluating public health or nutrition programs.

About the role

In this role you will:

  • Guide and oversee the development, implementation, and periodic review of monitoring plans and support annual project planning and budget exercises to ensure monitoring and learning activities are resourced and implemented.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical leadership on data quality assurance strategies and ensure systems are in place, in collaboration with the GTS and regional monitoring and reporting teams, to ensure high quality data is generated.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for the strengthening of NI’s data management systems, policies, and protocols.
  • Oversee the development of annual and ad-hoc reports for Global Affairs Canada, ensuring high quality reports are submitted on time that integrate gender equality and are in compliance with donor contracts.
