Location: Ottawa, Canada (Hybrid Mode*)

You have:

A University degree in Business Administration or equivalent. Proficiency in English and French (reading writing and speaking). A minimum of five (5) years of experience in procurement and contracting, with strong source to settlement and Request for Proposal (RFP) experience. Experience preparing procurement strategies to support internal clients’ requirements. Experience in leading, developing and managing Request for quotation (RFQ) and Requests for Proposals (RFP) and other forms of bid solicitation including creating documents for the tendering, evaluation, and selection of suppliers. Experience with end-to-end procurement (i.e., RFx to contract closure). An in-depth understanding of principals, practices, regulations, life cycle of the procurement of goods and services. An enhanced knowledge in ERP, Source to Settlement systems and Procurement contract tools. Knowledge of Coupa is an asset.

You are:

A skilled communicator with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non technical users. Competent in negotiating and problem-solving including the ability to analyze, plan, organize, and coordinate activities within a client portfolio approach, A self-starter with ability to take initiative, set priorities and multi-task. Client service oriented and able to work under pressure using sound judgment. A team player with great interpersonal and collaborative skills within a multidisciplinary group of people from diverse cultures.

You are interested in:

Acquiring simple and complex services and goods for both domestic and international requirements. Creating and issuing various types of contracts/purchase orders. Securing contracts and agreements in areas such as Employee Relocation, IT Hardware, Software, SaaS; Professional/Consultant Services, Communications Services, Human Resource Services, , Office Products, Building and Facility services, Security services; etc. Resolving procurement issues and providing advice and guidance on procurement processes, procedures and regulations to internal clients.
