Know our team

Nutrition International’s Corporate Services (CS) unit is a dedicated team of Finance and Administrative experts with extensive global experience. The unit leads on providing global Accounting, Finance, Budget, and Compliance, Contracting and Procurement, Facilities management, and Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT). Currently, Nutrition International is seeking applications for a Senior Officer, Financial Planning and Analysis to be based in Ottawa, Canada.

About you

You are someone with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or commerce degree. You have 5 years or more experience working in financial planning and analysis or financial data governance. You have advanced knowledge of accounting applications and/or financial/HR functions within an ERP application (MS Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365, BOARD etc.). You demonstrate good judgment in analysing data and information and adapting procedures to accommodate new or unusual situations.

Fluency in English is required. French will be considered an asset.

About the role

In this role you will:

  • Support the Senior Manager Financial Planning and Analysis on the enhancement of Nutrition International’s systems and databases used for budgeting, contracting, expenditure tracking, performance management and forecasting to aid analysis, reconciliations, and planning at multiple levels within the organization and in line with Nutrition International’s information and coding dimensions.
  • Drafts process flows, internal controls, user guidance and supports the Senior Manager Financial Planning and Analysis team on delivering the trainings of Nutrition International’s financial systems for new and existing staff in consultation with other subject matter experts.
  • Ensure that multi-year budgets within NI’s systems are reconciled and up to date.
  • Collaboration closely with IT/IM as related to financial systems, including user access licensing and data security.
