The Position

The Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights will be critical to unlocking increasing and scalable value from our financial and non-financial data The role works closely with technology and business to provide data-oriented consultation on business challenges and opportunities You will add value to executive decision making process by reviewing, validating and contributing to business cases presented to the executive team with a financial lens (cost/benefit, opportunity cost, alignment with funding availability and alignment with strategic goals) You will understand the intricacies of funds received by the organization from various sources, their restrictions and requirements for use, communicate challenges, risks and opportunities, and advise on the optimal level of funding needed to achieve organization’s strategic goals and objectives. As part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will contribute to its success and progression and be prepared to help wherever needed

What success looks like?

Ability to gather, understand, process, manipulate, and integrate financial data sets Ability to conduct complex analysis on various datasets from multiple platforms and confidently present findings to the business Work closely with other business team members to clearly explain your results, output and how it relates to the business opportunity while ensuring that output is practical and actionable Implement scenario modelling to demonstrate cause and effect relationship of different decision levers for strategic prioritization process and decisions. Develop practical business applications for prescriptive and predictive analytical models and monitor and analyze model performance and accuracy Scope and implement a strategy to introduce, get business buy-in and adopt an enterprise-wide longer term rolling forecast (3-5 year forecast)

As our ideal candidate you will have:

Proven work experience in developing and maintaining financial analytical models, scenario models and financial analysis with an accounting or finance designation (CPA; CFA etc.) Demonstrated experience in testing/validating, visualizing data and evaluating test results Familiarity with Power BI report and dashboard creation, Salesforce CRM and Clarizen are a definite asset You are an individual who can work independently, thrive in complex environment, take initiatives, is highly organized, have an attention to detail and is customer focused You have excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to a room of senior executives
