Duties and Qualifications

Operational Context: UNHCR Jordan has one of the largest refugee helplines in the world. Since its inception in 2008, the helpline has responded to more than 11 million calls. The Helpline is one approach UNHCR Jordan uses for two-way communication to provide information and feedback to refugees living in Jordan. It responds to around 8,000 calls per day on various topics through the automated response as well as through agents. Topics include: Registration, Resettlement, Protection, Livelihoods, and assistance (including basic needs assistance), health and education.
