OverviewSearch for Common Ground, the world’s largest peacebuilding organization and nominee for the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize, is seeking an international communications and marketing firm to provide whole-of-organization support to our public-facing awareness-raising and mobilization-campaigns, donor-engagement processes, and amplification of our recently-refreshed brand. The right firm would provide immediate and substantive content-development and amplification support. Celebrating our 40th anniversary in 2022 with a recent brand-refresh and having recently launched our most ambitious domestic program in the United States, Search for Common Ground is well positioned for a significant increase in public awareness, relevance, influence and support, and seeks a firm that can support us to capitalize on this moment.

Deliverables

    • Immediate needs
    • Develop a strategy and structure for the organization to implement fundraising appeals through email and direct mail. This includes developing content for at least 8 fundraising direct mail and email appeals and mailings over the remainder of 2022.
    • Support the development of a rapid response system through which the organization can increase its visibility through timely response to current newsworthy events related to peace and conflict
    • Complete a website content audit and work with Search stakeholders to determine what content should be included in a redesigned website and how the content should be organized
    • Support stakeholder engagement for website redesign to ensure collaborative decision-making around high-level objectives, content management, and UI/UX
    • Provide editorial support and placements for at least 5 op-eds / opinion pieces on major international publications
    • Secure at least 5 media appearances for Search leadership / staff on major international outlets
    • Produce the organization's annual impact report
    • Provide pre-production and scripting support for a USA TV / social media PSA to be produced by end of December 2022While the above deliverables are considered immediate, the scope of work may develop and be adapted following consultation with the selected firm.
