Search for Common Ground (Search) is a world-wide Non-Profit Organization with the primary objective to change the way the world deals with conflict, away from adversarial approaches towards collaborativeSolutions. Search has been working in Kenya since 2008, when we launched the award-winning series The Team. Our work has focused on overcoming ethnic, political, social and cultural divides, furthering constructive interaction and healthy relationships between civil society and key government actors, and transforming violent Conflict. In this call, Search is seeking to engage a Radio Drama Script writer to develop radio content that can relate with swahili, Somali, Pokomo and Orma cultures, with a view to strengthening communities’ resilience to election-related violence. The 15-minutes’ radio Drama program will be targeting women in several areas including Garissa, Lamu, Tana River, Kilifi, Kwale, and Mombasa Counties. The programs will be used for local and national audiences. English transcription will need to be included in scripts for programs. Specifically, the script writer will need to deliver: 1.A synopsis and a storyline for the Radio Drama2. Scripts for 12 episodes of a Radio Drama, for Search’s approval.3. Select and direct actors during the production process. The final products are expected to be delivered to Search Kenya by the end of 30th June 2022.
